THE AESTHETIC OF OPULENCE L.P REVIEW

The 5th installation in a series of albums that are released under a signature sound which is phonographic and nostalgic; reminiscent of 80’s hip-hop. Taking into account the architecture of the 3rd Delivery and The Sonic L.P then making much needed comparisons with The God Sonic and its garment counterpart The God Collection leaves so much room for frustration, trusting outside council with an art project as delicate as quintessential arts is synonyms with a nuclear plant explosion or something in the scale of the Sack of Rome, regardless of the number of units moved since this isn't a numbers game. In an effort to right those wrongs which until now were never disclosed. The God Sonic (Expanded Edition) and The God Collection (Reimagined) were released months after making rookie mistakes and in a way was a get back which still wasn’t enough. On The Aesthetic of Opulence chess playing and time travelling are perhaps a thing both literally and figuratively, as you may imagine it doesn't get more brutal than a war over the board, brains sparring crushing one another at every open in the pursuit to reign supreme. Progressive, cinematic and illustrious - that’s the project in laymen’s terms. Does it get any better than this? The scripting has never been this consistent and precise before.

Refined gloomy soundscape, so patient yet still straight to business; The a-side of the project boasts staggering theatrical performances and perhaps a form of introspection and emphasis on the importance of the long game while the b side is instrumentals - pure audio opium.
