ÆTHER REVIEW

There’s something particularly striking about the origins of Quintessential Arts; first it sewed its mythos in simple worded merchandise packaged along its sonical counterpart; The Beat Pack, in that package would be a very brief literary piece while still figuring out necessary components of this art project. Such would be the way for six more installations to follow. With every offering these projects would be expansive, more animated along with their editorial pieces, displaying a gallery-esque presentation making the case that Quintessential Arts was in fact an omnipresent art gallery with no physical headquarters yet still present in that it was being worn by the weirdo at a big bank, one you or your parents lock your funds in or a tech company that provides you with internet access, sometimes played by a next door neighbor, or occasionally read by your sibling after coming back home from a long day at school or work. The exercise in this approach was first displayed in its entirety with the 3rd Delivery as well as The Sonic L.P (Deluxe Edition). This was a more necessary piece of the puzzle because it told everybody what this organization is, as it carved its place in this intricate canvas we call the cosmos weaved by yours truly, the Supreme Deity. To follow was a season modelled after biblical tales and hymns, Greek philosophy and a dash of physics. Before you know it the 5th season home to The Aesthetic of Opulence L.P and IV Collection was proposed as an intense chess epic decked out in violence on Act III and romance on Act II while giving much needed counsel which is abundant on Act I: “Get wisdom, get understanding, forget it not.” Like the ocean, the creative landscape is cutthroat, it can suck you up and spit you out with the least bit of effort. In an ocean filled by sharks and whales Quintessential Arts was a dolphin with an arsenal of tricks, the best of them to date would be the 7th season which houses the Superterrestrial Collection and Celestial Experience boasting the most editorial pieces dedicated to it; this season had every institution used to hypnotise the masses on a vice grip borrowing dialogues from films such as 12 Years A Slave and the Harvard Design Speech in order to set the stage for addressing matters that concern ancient cultures, religion as a vehicle to enslave, ransack and oppress. Perverted entertainment to keep the masses occupied while recognising and being cognisant of divine intervention of the divine forces without exclusion of the celestial bodies likening Quintessential Arts to the epitome of these celestial bodies; æther. In its pursuit for unflinching conviction, one installation stacking on top of the other was a display of unique revelations at every instance, higher comprehension of collective consciousness and organization as well as the extra-terrestrial. Every effort makes it evident, this is an entity in a league of its own defining its domain.
